THEFT CHARGES AGAINST HOUSEKEEPER WHO PAWNED JEWELRY

A housekeeper was hit with theft charges after allegedly taking $10,000 in jewelry from a home. A Northfield resident reported the items missing on June 12. Then on June 15, some of those items showed up at a pawn shop in Manahawkin. Kathleen Hilley was arrested on June 17 and charged with theft. She was released after processing. Additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.
