TESTIMONY GIVEN IN “AID IN DYING” BILL

There was no vote, but lots of discussion about the “Aid in Dying” bill on Monday. A key Assembly committee heard from six speaker, three for and three against the measure. The bill would allow doctors to provide life-ending drugs to terminally ill patients through a process, including at least two different doctor visits. Because of the importance of the issue, the committee wanted to hear from public before making a decision.
