South Jersey residents can expect to see more temporary job opportunities this holiday season according to a new survey. The Hay Group, a Philly-based consultant, says 36 percent of South Jersey retailers are planning to increase their seasonal workforce, compared with 10 percent last year. The survey gave Toys R Us as an example. The toy retailer expects to hire 45,000 seasonal workers nationwide. About 400 of these temporary jobs will be in five South Jersey stores, including Mays Landing, Vineland and Toms River.
