Cape May County Prosecutor Bob Taylor has offered assistance to West Cape May as that community tries to quell its issues involving missing water. Taylor appeared at the West Cape May Borough Commission meeting Wednesday afternoon and offered help from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office in the event any theft of water is discovered in the community. Borough officials have learned that potentially millions of gallons of water never made it to customers’ homes over the past several years, and an investigation is underway. The Borough will spend money to address the problem.
