TAX INCREASE PROPOSED BY OCEAN CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

A new school budget proposal was presented in Ocean City. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the taxes would go up in the district by 1.4 cents. The total spending plan comes in at $41 million. The budget will be voted on during school elections on April 27. According to the report, the district is asking for $300,000 more in tax money this year compared to last.
