TAX CREDIT DENIED FOR JERSEY SHORE SHOW

One hand giveth, the other hand taketh away. Gov. Chris Christie announced on Monday that he was vetoing a $420,000 tax credit to the Jersey Shore production company. Christie let a number of other tax credits stand including wrestling shows. Some industry officials said it was not the governor’s place to critic and pick which shows deserve a credit and which don’t. The governor’s office initially said they could not do anything, but since changed their mind.
