TAKING LEGISLATURE IS NOT LIKELY, ACCORDING TO CHRISTIE

Republicans won’t take control of the state legislature. Those are the words of Gov. Chris Christie. Christie said over the weekend that he is not expecting his party to take control of the Senate and Assembly. The Republican governor cited the Democratic legislative map that is mostly advantageous for incumbents to keep their seats. The advantage is 24-16 in the Senate and 45 to 32 in the Assembly, in favor the Democrats.
