TAKE YOUR CAR TO PEP BOYS, ADVANCE AUTO? YOU MAY HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF

If you took your vehicle to Pep Boys in New Jersey, you may have been ripped off.  The State of New Jersey has sued the company that owns Pep Boys, alleging the business fraudulently overcharged customers in their stores.  Inspections by the Division of Consumer Affairs showed that barcode scanners charged items at a much higher price.  Advance Auto Parts is also involved in this complaint.  Advance has 69 stores in New Jersey, Pep Boys, 43.
