The State of New Jersey has sued the company that owns Pep Boys, alleging the business fraudulently overcharged customers in their stores. Inspections by the Division of Consumer Affairs showed that barcode scanners charged items at a much higher price. Advance Auto Parts is also involved in this complaint.
