TAJ MAHAL GIVES UNION TILL MONDAY AT 5 P.M. TO AGREE TO DEAL

A deal was supposedly put together to keep the Trump Taj Mahal open. A letter has now been sent to Bob McDevitt, president of Local 54 of the Unite-HERE union, saying the union has till 5 p.m. on Monday to sign off on the agreement. In the letter, it says a deal was agreed to by the state and union that would have kept the casino open. The agreement has not been signed off on to this point. If the deal is approved, Carl Icahn would take over the property and promised to put $100 million into the property.
