TAJ MAHAL CLOSURE RESULTS IN BIG REVENUE LOSS FOR ATLANTIC CITY

The closure of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in October helped Atlantic City casinos lose just over ten percent of its gross operating profits during the third quarter of this year.  The closure of the casino followed a lengthy labor strike which cropped the Taj Mahal.  During the first nine months of this year, the casinos still have posted a 4.4 percent increase in operating profit.
