Senate President Steve Sweeney says his body of government will not even consider the nomination made by Gov. Chris Christie for the Supreme Court. Christie nominated Anne Patterson on Monday, and has Senate Democrats extremely mad. Christie decided to not renominate Justice John Wallace, a decision not seen by a governor in New Jersey since it adopted its current constitution in 1947. Sweeney said Patterson will not get a hearing, no matter how qualified she may or may not be. Members of the Christie camp feel it is unreasonable to not give her a fair hearing.
