Senate President Steve Sweeney has drawn the line in the sand. Sweeney said on Monday if Gov. Chris Christie tries to pull out the pension payment out of this upcoming year’s budget, then it won’t be voted on in the Senate. Christie eluded to being able to do other things with the $2.4 billion that is scheduled to be paid in this upcoming budget during his State of the State address. Sweeney noted that public employees made sacrifices and promises were made because of those sacrifices.
