SWEENEY, OTHERS TAKE PART IN ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE

Some high ranking members of the New Jersey Legislature took part in the ice bucket challenge on Monday.  Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean Jr. both were soaked with buckets of ice water to support ALS.  Senators from New Jersey also presented a $30,000 check to the Greater New York chapter of the ALS Association to support the effort.  Nearly $16 million has been raised since July 29th.
