SWEENEY: NO CHANGE TO GAS LAWS IN STATE

There will be no change to the self service ban at gas stations as long as Steve Sweeney is Senate President. Sweeney said on Tuesday he would not support any change to the law and noted that legislation like that would not be heard by him anytime as long as he remains in charge of the Senate. Legislation has been introduced to make the change but it can’t be heard on the Senate floor without Sweeney’s approval.
