SWEENEY: NO AMENDMENT THIS YEAR FOR STATE WORKERS

Senate President Steve Sweeney announced that a constitutional amendment designed to protect public workers pensions is unlikely for this year.  Sweeney says no discussion on the amendment is possible until the State resolves the funding crisis attached to the Transportation Trust Fund.
