SWEENEY: CHRISTIE NEEDS TO TAKE ACTION ON SANDY BILL OF RIGHTS

The “Sandy Bill of Rights” continues to sit on Gov. Chris Christie’s desk. Senate President Steve Sweeney issued a statement Thursday saying action should be taken by the governor to sign the bill into law. Sweeney has been the main driver of the bill, which he says will make the state more effective in helping those in need following Hurricane Sandy.
