SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FOR STEALING $20K OF JEWELRY

A residential burglary saw $20,000 in jewelry taken from a residence on Bentz Ave. in the Villas. Lower Township Police announced the arrest of David Fessler, who was also found to be in possession of cocaine and heroin. Fessler was asked about another residential burglary in the township, which he confessed to. He was charged with burglary, theft, and drug possession charges. Bail was set at $75,000. He was placed in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
