SUSPECT SOUGHT IN PLEASANTVILLE SHOOTING

Pleasantville Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man around 4;30 p.m. on Sunday. The shooting occurred near the intersection of Adams and Gladstone Avenues. Police report that a 20-year-old man and his brother were walking back from a nearby deli when they were approached by a heavy set black man in a ski mask who started firing, then got into an SUV and fled. The victim was shot in the hand and hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call Crimestoppers anonymously at 1-800-658-TIPS.
