SUSPECT CAPTURED IN MOREY’S PIERS THEFT

The third suspect in a theft that took place on Morey’s Piers has been taken into custody. North Wildwood Police were contacted by the Clayton Police Department stating they had arrested Leander Jardell. He was wanted in connection with the incident that took place on boardwalk on July 11. Jardell from Clayton was charged with theft, use of a 17-year-old or younger to commit a crime, criminal mischief and defiant trespass. Jardell was transported to Cape May County Correctional Facility. Bail was set in the amount of $35,000 full cash.
