If you think New Jersey’s bridges are in terrible shape..you’re right. A new report issued by NJ.com shows that more than one third of all bridges in the Garden State are structurally deficient. 2,343 bridges throughout New Jersey need repairs and some of them have been closed for over a year waiting for funding to show up. Some bridges in Cape May County also need significant work including the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge which is closed until at least the end of April for more repairs.
