On Sunday a special surfing event was held in Wildwood Crest for young people affected by spinal cord injuries and related disabilities. The Wildwood Leader reports that the 10th annual Life Rolls On, They Will Surf Again adaptive surfing program was held at the Rambler Road beach, involving 62 participants and about 400 volunteers. Life Rolls On was founded by world champion quadriplegic surfer Jesse Billauer and brought to South Jersey by Chad DeSatnick, a lifelong recreational surfer who suffered a severe injury while surfing at Poverty Beach in his hometown of Cape May.
