A big shortfall is in front of the Administrative Office of the Courts. Chief Justice Stuart Rabner noted on Friday that there is a $25 million shortfall in the budget for the next year and that means 60 jobs are going to have to be cut. The speech took place in front of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Rabner did not address Gov. Chris Christie in his remarks. Christie has often been critical of the Supreme Court in town hall meetings and media interviews.
