SUPPORT GROWING FOR SINGLE-STREAM RECYCLING IN CMC

Another local municipality has come on-board for single stream recycling for Cape May County. On Monday, the Middle Township Committee approved a resolution backing the Cape May County MUA’s proposal for a single-stream recycling program in 2013. According to the Middle Township Gazette, all county municipalities except Cape May Point and West Wildwood have voted to approve resolutions adopting the new system. Currently, paper, plastics and cans need to be separated before pick-up for recycling.
