NBC has announced a benefit concert for the victims of Superstorm Sandy for this Friday night including an impressive list of performers. Scheduled to appear are Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi of New Jersey and Billy Joel of Long Island, plus Sting, Christina Aguilera, and Jimmy Fallon. The event will benefit the Red Cross and air on NBC and its host of cable stations. Matt Lauer will host the concert that is scheduled to begin at 8 P.M. The telethon will originate from the NBC studios in Rockefeller Center in New York City.
