SUDDEN BEACH EROSION REPORTED IN NORTH WILDWOOD

A section of beach at the north end of North Wildwood did a disappearing act on Wednesday evening. NBC-40 reports that an 80-foot wide section of the beach washed away at about 5pm on Wednesday, causing a five to six foot drop off. No injuries were reported, and the North Wildwood Public Works Department fenced off the area.
