STUDY: MORE THAN ONE IN THREE ARE WORKING POOR IN NJ

A new study says more than 1/3 of the state is classified as working poor. The United Way did the study that found that 37 percent of the households in New Jersey that would fall into this category. New Jersey is an expensive state to work in, which is part of the reason why families have a hard time making it. The group estimates that a family of four needs about $65,000 to make it with all the basics.
