STUDY: BOOZE, DRUGS LEADING CA– USE OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH IN NJ

A sobering new report from the National Safety Council today lists alcohol and drug use as the leading cause of accidental death in New Jersey.  The report shows that 821 New Jerseyans died from the use of alcohol and drugs four years ago which shows a skyrocketing death rate.  Alcohol and drug use has now outpaced motor vehicle accidents and accidental falls as the leading cause of accidental death in the Garden State.
