STUDENTS INJURED IN SCHOOL BUS CRASH

Several students were injured when a school bus ran off the roadway on the Garden State Parkway. Authorities tell Coastal Broadcasting that a school bus with Charter Tech students hit a tree off the Parkway near milemarker 33. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening. About a dozen students were injured in the crash. An investigation is continuing into the cause of the accident.
