A structure fire occurred at about 7:30pm Tuesday evening in the Villas on West Florida Avenue. The Cape May County Herald reports that heavy damage was done to the home that had smoke pouring out the front door when firefighters arrived. Fire crews from Erma, Town Bank and Green Creek responded to the fire call. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
