STRONG-ARM ROBBERY IN GALLOWAY MOTEL PARKING LOT

A 23 year-old North Jersey man was arrested on Saturday for a strong armed robbery at a motel in Galloway Township. Police arrested James J, Hastings Jr, of Bergen County for allegedly conducting a strong-arm robbery in the parking lot of the Red Carpet Motel at about 4 a.m. on Saturday. The victim, a 29 year-old man from Woodstown, told police that his cell phone was forcibly stolen by the suspect. Hastings was charged with robbery and resisting arrest and placed in the Atlantic County jail on $75,000 bail.
