STRIKING TAJ MAHAL WORKERS TAKE PROTEST TO NEW YORK CITY

Striking workers at the Trump Taj Mahal took their protest to the owner’s Manhattan offices for a second time on Monday. Union members from Unite Here Local 54 protested outside the office of Carl Icahn, urging the billionaire to keep the casino open and settle the strike that has been going on since July 1st. The union delivered handwritten letters from workers describing their plight and appealing for a settlement to the labor dispute.
