For the second consecutive week the Jersey Shore will have a very hot Saturday. The National Weather Service predicts temperatures to climb into the mid 90s at the beaches on Saturday with a heat index approaching 105 degrees. Last weekend, the heat index climbed to 120 degrees even at the beaches. There is a chance of showers and storms late in the day Friday into Friday night before a hot day on Saturday. Temperatures will stay at or above 90 degrees through the middle of next week.
