It looks like Cape May County will get getting some now out of the winter storm that could paralyze part of New England. The National Weather Service and Accu Weather both predict some bad weather for our local area on Sunday afternoon into Monday morning as a powerful storm moves past the Jersey Shore. The storm is expected at this time to stay largely out to sea but fetch in snow and possibly some rain and sleet along the southern New Jersey coastline. The storm could really slam the New England states Sunday night into Monday with a major storm. Frankly, there’s no official call yet for the snowfall amounts locally, but that should be coming later in the day Friday, into Christmas Day. Graphic courtesy of Accu Weather.
