Only this much is certain: the South will be getting snow during this weekend. Various weather agencies, including Accuweather, are still not predicting a huge snowstorm for the Mid Atlantic region of the country, even though it still remains a possibility. The big storm that brought floods to California is now moving east, and many experts believe the storm will bring some heavy snow to the South, including in some areas that do not see snow. What’s that mean for Cape May County? It looks like we will be getting some snow, probably on Sunday afternoon, through early Monday morning. The snow may mix with a little rain right along the coastline as temperatures will be in the mid 30s. If this storm moves out to sea like last weekend’s storm, no major issues for us. If it tracks closer to the coastline, it will be the biggest weather event since February’s blizzards.
