The National Weather Service is calling for a wind-blown rain storm that could include some thunder Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening. The storm could result in some power outages along the coastline where wind gusts could exceed 50mph. On Friday, a small period of calm before brutally cold air comes in by nightfall, with overnight lows in the teens into Christmas Eve.
