STONE HARBOR’S DREDGING PROJECT UNDERWAY AGAIN

A major back bay dredging project in Stone Harbor has resumed again.  The Borough announced on its website that the dredging of the Shelter Haven Basin is currently underway and dredging will continue through the end of March.  Stone Harbor worked with State officials on a permit modification regarding the dewatering of the dredge materials which takes place in a municipal parking lot at 81st Street.
