STONE HARBOR UNVEILS PIECE OF STEEL FROM TRADE CENTER

The Borough of Stone Harbor held a September 11th event on Tuesday afternoon and unveiled to the public a piece of steel recovered from the World Trade Center.  The piece will be used in the Borough’s new September 11th memorial to be constructed near the municipal parking lot at 123rd Street on the southern end of the community.  Stone Harbor’s new memorial should be constructed within one year.
