STONE HARBOR UNVEILS NEW FREEDOM PARK

The Borough of Stone Harbor held a ceremony on Thursday to unveil its new Freedom Park.  The park includes an artifact from the World Trade Center in New York City.  Many local officials were on hand to dedicate the new park which is located just east of the Stone Harbor Volunteer Fire Department.  Councilwoman Joan Kramar hosted the ceremony, and was able to acquire one of the final artifacts from Ground Zero that was released by the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey.
