Stone Harbor is requiring individuals to purchase new trash cans with suitable handles, wheels, metal bar and tight fitting covers. The Borough says it is modifying trash trucks to accommodate automatic lifters. In neighboring Avalon, the community intends to purchase the new trash cans for the property owners to have uniformity in trash and recycling cans.
