STONE HARBOR PREPPING FOR DREDGE PROJECT

Stone Harbor is taking the necessary steps to perform maintenance dredging of the Stone Harbor Lagoons this fall to serve the boating community, residents, and those utilizing the waterways. This June, the Borough will solicit bids from dredging contractors. The project will include maintenance dredging, dewatering the dredged material at the Stone Harbor Marina parking lot, and placing the dredged material at approved upland facilities. Up to 179,000 cubic yards of dredged material may be removed from the waterways.
