Stone Harbor may authorize a contract with a new vendor for animal control services during its meeting on Tuesday. Borough Council has an item on its agenda to authorize New Jersey Nature of Delmont to handle animal control services through the end of the year. Stone Harbor used to share Middle Township’s animal control officer, but recently Middle Township decided to keep all animal control services within the borders of the township. The contract is expected to cost less than $10,000.
