STONE HARBOR DEPUTY CLERK CHARGED WITH THEFT

The deputy clerk for Stone Harbor has been charged by the town she works for with official misconduct, theft, and other charges.  Stone Harbor Police announced that 50 year old Lisa Stefankewicz has been charged following an investigation into missing money from the Borough.  An audit of Borough books was conducted and authorities found that cash was taken from sailcraft permits, business registrations and parking permits.  Stefankiewicz was charged and released on her own recognizance.
