Keeping it in house helped emergency services in Stone Harbor. The Stone Harbor Rescue Squad donated a Kawasaki EMS ATV to the Stone Harbor Volunteer Fire-Rescue to assist with medical calls on the borough’s beaches. The Rescue Squad received a private donation which was used for the purchase.
For a number of years, the Stone Harbor Fire-Rescue has been using a pickup truck to remove patients from the beaches. This new ATV will be more maneuverable on the beaches and allow easier transports.
