STONE HARBOR APPROVES NEW 2014 BUDGET

A new municipal budget is in place in Stone Harbor.  Council met on Tuesday evening and approved a $14 million budget that includes a tax increase of eight tenths of one cent.  The budget was approved on a 6-0 vote and establishes a tax rate of 23.2 cents, one of the lowest rates in South Jersey.  Just over $1 million in surplus funding is being used to support this year’s budget.
