STOCKTON TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST SHOWBOAT

Stockton University has filed against Caesar’s Entertainment regarding the sale of the Showboat Casino. The university is claiming that Caesar’s hasn’t responded to their efforts to use an indemnification clause in the contract that would hold the school harmless against issues that might arise with Trump Entertainment using a legal covenant to block the sale of the property. Stockton claims they were told there wouldn’t be any issues with the sale of the casino and have now filed action in bankruptcy court, where Caesar’s is currently, over the issue.
