It appears that gay marriage is on track to start Oct. 21 in New Jersey. The Christie administration had sought a stay of the decision by the Superior Court until an appeal could be decided. The court ruled that a stay would not be granted and said the state was unlikely to win an appeal. Barring something unforeseen, in under two weeks gay couples will be able to wed in New Jersey.
