STATE’S BLUE ACRES PROGRAM HAS 500TH DEMO ALONG BAY IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

The state’s Superstorm Sandy Blue Acres Buyout Program reached a milestone with its 500th home demolished.  State officials say the home was located on the Delaware Bay in Cumberland County.  In this program, homes are demolished in order to create more storm-resilient areas along New Jersey’s coastlines.
