A former payroll clerk for the New Jersey Department of Human Services plead guilty to making fake identification cards. Acting Attorney General John Hoffman announced that Laquanda Tate, of Trenton, plead guilty to third-degree charges of simulating a motor vehicle insurance identification card and theft by deception. She also admitted that she stole public assistance benefits by creating false documents to claim childcare expenses, according to the press release. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 18.
