The state of New Jersey is poised to spend $1 million to help schools combat the problem of bullying. The New Jersey Senate and Assembly both passed measures on Thursday that will allocate the million dollars to various school districts who can apply to fund anti-bullying programs. The state will create a task force to oversee the distribution of funds. School districts will have to first prove they implemented free alternatives before applying for the state funding.
