STATE WILL RECEIVE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANTS

$158 million..that’s how much money New Jersey is getting from the federal government in Homeland Security grants.  Senator Frank Lautnberg announced that the grant money will help protect lives and infrastructure in North Jersey.  Among the beneficiaries of the funding:  New Jersey Transit, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the Delaware River Port Authority.
